Meeting HRH Princess Anne

On the 13th May, 2026, HRH Princess Anne visited Dornoch in Sutherland to celebrate the town's local volunteering history and "1,000 years of service".

The weather provided a traditional 'four seasons in on day' with bright sunshine at the start of the visit and a torrential downpour while chatting to voluntary organisations on the Cathedral Green.

Despite the adverse weather Princess Anne to time to chat to all the organisations present.

Robert Morrall, Director of Pictora, was pleased to have the opportunity to introduce Pictora to the Princess and chat for a few minutes on the challenges facing prison system.
