Made Visible Exhibition @ Quaker Centre, London
August 23 has seen the amazing month long Made Visible exhibition at the Quaker Centre, Euston Road, London. This has been a Pictora and 2makeit partnership exhibition, containing a range of Pictora art from inmates at HMP Inverness and Colorado State Penitentiary.
The Made Visible concept was first launched in 2019, supported by the Big Lottery as an initiative to challenge labels that vulnerable individuals acquire. The Made Visible Exhibition removes the label of Prisoner and mixes art created in prison with that created by vulnerable groups in society, making everyone an artist or creative.
